Description
What test should you take?
One competitive test for future math majors is the advanced placement Calculus test, however, many excellent students augment that with the SAT Math 2 test to show further interest in this specialty.
High school students who did not have the AP experience are encouraged to take the SAT Math 2 test if their intended college requires it. It will have a stronger component of algebra and functions and
pre-calc. However, if you are looking to save both money on tuition and fast track thru some of the easier Biology courses you are encouraged to take the CLEP Algebra test which offers by far the easiest three college credits which are accepted currently 2,900 colleges. CLEP Pre-Calculus is also another way to avoid tuition costs and leap frog to more advanced courses plus earn those three credits!
